Rope-a-dope Level 1: | Tactical Combat Skill This Skill has two modes, one that works in Combat and one that works in underground fights.
Underground fights: At level 1 of this Skill, when using the Work the Circuit Skill to compete in underground fights, this character can re-roll a failed Fight Check if they increase their current Stress Level to one point over their Stress Limit. At Level 7 they can re-roll the Fight Check by raising their current Stress to 2X their Stress Limit +1. This can result in having 2 rerolls for a single fight. In Combat: Whenever the Contender is reduced to 0 or fewer personal DC they are instead knocked Prone and reduced to 1. Each time this happens the character gains 2 Stress. The maximum number of times this Skill can be used in a Combat is equal to this Skills Level. | |||
Fight Persona: | If the Contender is the Champ of any zone in a city Double their purse in every zone in that city | |||
Death Matches: | This ability can only be used in cities with more than 3 zones. Characters that are willing to risk more can make good coin. When using the Work the Circuit Skill the contender can choose to accept a Death Match. If they do they will gain 10X the Chips per level (doesn't affect the bonus from popularity) but on a loss they gain a grievous wound and a point of stress.
